The Technicolor Dreams of a Black and White Person

"The days go on and on... they don't end.
All my life needed was a sense of someplace to go.
I don't believe that one should devote his life to morbid self-attention.
I believe that one should become a person like other people”
–Travis Bickle, Taxi Driver(1976)

Howdy!! Hello there and welcome!

Allow me to take the opportunity to introduce myself. I am an engineering student from the University of the Philippines. I have this inborn passion for the arts; music, visual and performing arts, and lately, I’ve been madly infatuated on films. And I don't want to limit myself into just appreciating the art, but instead, one day, be a filmmaker myself.

These are the Technicolor dreams of a Black and White Person.

This blog is dedicated in providing insightful and, hopefully, entertaining film reviews on movies that I've seen; films that ranges from classical to contemporary, from black and white to 3D, from American Hollywood to European avant-garde, from live-action to animation, etc. These reviews are based on my own taste, while all at the same time keeping it intellectually enriching through analyzing films using a scholarly approach. I'll try and update this blog as often as possible. Thank you for the time you’ll spend reading its content.

Again, welcome and enjoy your stay!
